Château du Cèdre 2014(93 points)
Spicy black-currant aromas on the nose and intense juicy black fruit on the dense palate. The rich, generous layers of fruit perfectly balance the tannins that build up to a harmonious whole. #57 at Top 100 Wine Enthusiast 2017
Le Cèdre Cahors 2014(94 points)
Bursting with juicy ripe berry fruit and with firm background tannins. Its great fruitiness is contrasted with the strength of those tannins and with its concentration.
GC Cahors 2014(95 points)
With its dense tannins, rich black fruit flavours, acidity and restrained power, it is a major force. Even with all its weight, it’s stylish, complex and ageworthy wine.

Château du Cèdre Cahors GC 2014
A complex nose of black berries, violet and pepper. Black fruits are dominant. Finesse and strength on the palate, it’s both delicate and powerful, already smooth mouth feel. Pure juice of high quality. With roast beef.
Château du Cèdre Cahors Le Cèdre 2014
Roasted raspberries and spicy black fruits, a hint of toastiness. Medium-bodied and fresh with clean and melting fruit. Long fruity finish. Outstanding balance. Try it with a tajine and prunes.
Santa Duc #Gigondas „Clos Derrière Vieille“ 2014 - Tasted by Jeb Dunnuck
he 2014 Gigondas Clos Derriere Vieille (80% Grenache and 10% each of Syrah and Mourvèdre) is another Provencal, medium-bodied, downright charming red that’s not overflowing with fruit and texture, yet charms you with its complexity and nuance. Revealing lots of savory garrigue, flowers and sweet raspberry and blackberry fruit, it has good mid-palate depth and ripe tannin. It, too, will drink beautifully through 2024.

Le GC Cahors 2014
He’s the patriarch of Château du Cèdre, the wise, the Hermit. At least at first glance. Behind his serious colour, his opaque dark fruit and his legendary concentration hides in reality a delicate, flowery core, with a litany of exuberant, exotic spices and an almost creamy, complex structure. Frank in his youth, as far as you dare to speak to him, he prefers however to show off all his virtuosity after several years of rest in a cool, peaceful cellar. A true companion, a shrine full of memories.

The 2014 Gigondas Aux Lieux Dits (75% Grenache, 13% Mourvèdre and the balance Syrah and Cinsault) is a terrific wine in the vintage. It reveals a healthy ruby/purple color as well as medium-bodied richness, solid mid-palate depth, ripe tannin, classic notes of spiced red and black fruits and Provencal garrigue. It should drink beautifully through 2024.

Domaine Santa Duc Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Crau Ouest 2014 by “Guide Hachette 2017”
In family ownership since 1874, the winery was taken over by Yves Gras in 1985. Yves soon started organic farming in its vineyards in Gigondas, a few years later also in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. In the cellar, he keeps no more barriques but large wooden tanks and terracotta amphoras to emphasize the character of the terroir.
The first subtle nose, opens quickly with the scent of spices, as well as fresh raspberries and currants. Balanced in the taste, with pleasant, soft fullness, fresh acidity and dense, high-quality tannins.
Santa Duc goes for single vineyard wines in #Gigondas and #Châteauneuf-du-Pape
The basic idea is simple: Every major region in the world has the opportunity to make wines based on the expression of terroir. This applies to Burgundy as to California, to the Mosel, as well as to the Rhône Valley.
After several years of observation and research, Yves and Benjamin Gras have bottled their first signle vineyard wines from Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, vintage 2014. In Gigondas they have opted for the “CLOS DERRIÈRE VIEILLE”, a vineyard located 350 meters above sea level, on the chalky soil of the Dentelles de Montmirail. It joins the “HAUTES GARRIGUES”, a wine made from Grenache and Mourvèdre, growing on alluvial soils of red clay and gravel next to the winery. “AUX LIEUX DITS”, an assemblage made of grapes from eight different vineyards, completes the Gigondas wine range of Santa Duc.
Three wines also from Châteauneuf-du-Pape: The cuvée “HABEMUS PAPAM” unites the character of all vineyards cultivated by Yves Gras in the appellation. In the area of “SAINTES VIERGES” in the north-eastern part of the appellation, Grenache, Counoise and Mourvèdre are growing on fine, sandy soils, creating a soft, gentle and complex wine. Old Grenache vines growing in "LA CRAU OUEST”, offer powerful aromas, depth and elegancy.
Tasted side by side, the wines tell a fascinating story about the character and the strength of terroir of these two famous wine areas, while each wine in itself promises a great, versatile wine experience.
