The famous australian Clarendon Vineyard and Winery is up for sale for more than A$10m.
The vineyard, situated at the northern end of McLaren Vale, has supplied fruit for some of Australia’s most famous wines, including Penfolds Grange and Eileen Hardy Shiraz.
Together with some 174 other estates, it was featured by Robert Parker in his book « The World’s Greatest Wine Estates ».
Clarendon was established in the 1970s and includes 83ha of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Grenache, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier, planted on the 186ha of land of the estate.
Expressions of interest for the property are due to close on 7 December.
