First all-English wine list of the UK

A pub in Lancashire has set up an all-English wine list. It’s the first restaurant in the UK that only presents British wines.
Since April, the « Calf’s Head » in Worston presents 16 English wines from Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Dorset. Owner Chris Medley, who discovered the wines while travelling, admits being impressed by their quality and taste.
He also hopes, promotion of the country’s own wines might help British economy. “There’s no need to import things we can produce in this country”, he said.
Obviously it does work. For some wines, the pub has sold six months worth of stock within six weeks.
