In the 1980s, I started growing grape varieties recommended by the Minervois farmers union: Cinsault, Grenache noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre for the red varieties, and Vermentino, Muscat petits grains as well as Grenache blanc and gris to make white wines.
Since 2000, longing for originality and freedom, I am experimenting with grape varieties from highly renowned wine regions of both France and abroad: Pinot noir from Burgundy, Nebbiolo from Barolo and Touriga nacional from the Dao and Douro regions in Portugal.
Short skin maceration (saignée) for Cinsault and Syrah, while Grenache and Mourvèdre have been directly pressed. A rosé with a fruity nose of freshly crushed raspberries and strawberries, a pleasant, medium-bodied and fresh palate and a nice aromatic complexity. A wine for your aperitif, barbeque and summer meals.
Partouse rosé 2015
It was one of you, passing by the winery last summer, who nourished the idea in me to name this new Rosé wine. It’s the first harvest of this vineyard planted with old grape varieties of the Languedoc in 2011. This is an assembly of “commoners” - Aramon, Picquepoul, Morrastel and Rivairenc - accompanied by the so-called “noble” grape varieties Cinsault and Grenache. From this blend, this assembly, this gathering, this mix ... of all these varieties, a wine with an evocative name was born...
Carignan, Grenache Noir, Syrah and Cinsault, handpicked into small cases, fermented and ripened in tanks. A complex nose of red and black fruit and many spices. Smooth and full-bodied, the perfect wine for meals you share with friends and family, from start to finish.
Alicante, Aramon, Piquepoul noir, Carignan. An original wine with smells of red fruit, garrigue, spices and hints of smoke. Pleasantly silky and fresh on the palate, you will appreciate this wine on cold meat and pastry. Cooled down to about 13°C, it also suits to fatty fish with spicy red wine sauces.
Great grape variety from Barolo in the Italian Piemonte. Atypical and smooth, with aromas of sour cherry, strawberry marmalade, dried apricots and smoke. On the palate, the wine surprises with its aromatic freshness and elegant tannins…. Italian elegance.
The nose is a true Pinot-bomb (cherries in brandy), smooth and velvety despite its power, with flavours of liquorice, vanilla and cinnamon.
Grape variety from the Portuguese Douro and Dao region. Highly complex – Spices, coffee, fruit, laurel, thyme… Medium-bodied and still young, you may already appreciate this wine on a curry or other Asian dishes.
A centenary Carignan, ripened for 6 months in used oak barrels. Fine and smooth, with fresh fruit and dried plums, nutmeg, vanilla and cinnamon. You will particularly appreciate this wine on meat dishes, venison, hearty meals and cheese (Cantal).
Low yielding Grenache noir (15hl/ha), ripened for 12 months in oak barrels. A wine that has both delicacy and power. Full-bodied, spicy, ripe fruits and flowers, fine and dense tannins with an elegant finish.

Over the last 11 years and vintages this wine has been highly rewarded by the Guide Hachette: 8 times Coup de Cœur (Best Pick or Favourite), 2 times three stars, 4 times 2 stars.
We suggest to taste this wine young after decanting or to leave for long years in your cellar.
